Swarovski

I am honored to have been selected for the Swarovski Reignited Academic Partnership.

Throughout the year, I incorporated Swarovski crystals into each of my designs, using them to highlight themes of wealth and grandeur.

I wove crystals into knitwear and adorned garments with crystal embellishments, layering them throughout my woven pieces to create a sense of opulence and refinement.

Types of Crystals

I used both hot fix and sew on Swarovski crystals throughout my collection.

Application

Applying crystals varied from piece to piece. Sewing onto knits proved to be a challenge. I had to secure each thread around knit stitches before attatching crystals. Though tedious, this process allowed for adjustments. Hot fix on the other hand was more efficient, but more permanant.
